In order to aid in developing the IT industry in Lebanon, the Syndicate of Information Technology Certified Experts in Lebanon (SITCEL) encourages new members to pursue the right education and grow suitable skills and become Certified IT Experts.

SITCEL’s main goals are to secure IT awareness by aiming to assist in the implementation of Cyber Security in Lebanon , combat the wrongful use of IT, Aid the Lebanese Public Sector to progress towards E-Governance, and apply a practical implementation of intellectual property. To do so, SITCEL offers a variety of workshops, conferences and activities that enhance members’ experience and involvement in the Information Technology field. SITCEL also offers qualification test and a list of specialization tests that members can to sit for to verify and update their knowledge and potentials in the specific IT fields, and that can help to become a certified IT expert.

SITCEL  considers fighting IT piracy, implementing international rules and regulations for IT usage in Lebanon, and monitoring IT implementation in Lebanese private and public institutions their official Syndicate Role.

Finally, SITCEL aspires to create a community of proven-experienced members to keep providing them with continuous support, assistance, and growth.
